My dad, Steve Williams, started leather working in 1973 and opened Backstreet Leather in 1975. Backstreet Leather brought my parents together, put my Dad through law school and enabled me to buy my own horse at 12. I feel really lucky to have inherited this old trade and craft from my parents.
